The official Indian passport photo size is 35mm × 45mm (3.5 cm × 4.5 cm) with a plain white background. The face must occupy 70–80% of the frame. Eyes should be open, looking directly at the camera, and the mouth closed. Glasses are not permitted since 2018 per MEA guidelines.
Aadhaar enrollment centers require a 35mm × 45mm photo. The background should be white or light-coloured. For online Aadhaar updates, UIDAI accepts JPEG files under 2 MB in the same dimensions.
PAN Card applications (NSDL / UTI) require a 25mm × 30mm colour photograph with a white background. The face must be clearly visible and the photo recent (within 3 months).
The RTO requires a 45mm × 35mm (landscape) or 35mm × 45mm photo depending on the state form. Select "Driving License" from the preset dropdown — our tool supports both orientations.

US Visa and US Passport photos must be 2 × 2 inches (51mm × 51mm) with a plain white background. The face must be centered, 1–1⅜ inches from chin to top of head. Select the "2×2 in — US Visa" preset above.
Schengen and UK visa photos must be 35mm × 45mm with a plain light grey or white background. The photo must be taken within the last 6 months and printed on high-quality photo paper.
